Title IX and Non-Discrimination

Utah State University believes in fostering respect and dignity for all members of the USU community and addresses sexual misconduct and discrimination in all its forms.

How Our Office Helps

In addition to enforcing USU's policies on non-discrimination and sexual misconduct, we provide:

Sexual Misconduct

Sexual misconduct includes relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and discrimination based on gender. Gender-based discrimination includes treating someone differently due to their gender, gender identity/expression, or sexual orientation. See USU Policy 339

Discrimination

Protected classes include race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, disability, or status as a protected veteran. See USU Policy 305.
