Required Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Employees

Employees must complete training in the prevention of sexual harassment when they become a new employee and then again every three years. The training will empower you to become a leader in prevention by teaching you how to recognize and address sexual harassment and other forms of sexual misconduct, responsible employee obligations, university and community support resources, and bystander intervention skills.

To fulfill this requirement, you can either attend an in-person training or take an online training. If you are on the Logan campus, we encourage you to take the in-person training instead of the online training.

Online Training 

How to Take the Training

You can access the online employee sexual harassment prevention course (Not Anymore for Employees) at https://studentsuccess.org/SSO/usu. You will need to log into the course platform using your USU credentials.

About Not Anymore for Employees

  1. The course will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
  2. You can take the course in multiple sittings. The course will save your progress if you need to stop and return to it later.
  3. The course explains why employees are such a critical part of interpersonal violence prevention on campus, discussing how trusted, non-judgmental and knowledgeable employees can make all the difference for a survivor of violence. It covers the prevalence of these crimes on campus, why people perpetrate, federal requirements for campuses, the power of primary prevention, sexual harassment and sexual discrimination, how to be an active bystander, Title IX and what it means, reporting obligations, trauma-informed response, and campus policies and resources.

If you have issues logging in or taking the course

  1. The courses are optimized for laptops and desktop computers only. If you are trying to access the courses via tablet or cell phone, utilize one of the other options.
  2. Make sure you are accessing the course from one of the links provided above.
  3. Try a different internet browser released in the last two years. The courses are best supported by the latest versions of Chrome (version 30 or newer), Firefox (version 25 or newer), Safari (version 6 or newer), and Internet Explorer (version 8 or newer).
  4. Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Flash (version 10 or newer).
  5. The courses are designed to be accessible to users with disabilities. If you have any accessibility issues, please use TRS to call a Student Success Support representative at 877-349-1150.

In-Person Training

  • New Employee training is for employees who were hired within the past 6-12 months OR employees who have never taken a sexual harassment prevention training through USU.
  • Update training is for employees who have previously taken a sexual harassment prevention training through USU.
